After being discharged from duty Reiner and Natasha have been travelling.  That doesn't mean they haven't participated in any of the action on the war front.  This hasn't been an easy task to go against their home country of Canar...but as things stand, Canar seems to be in the wrong.  Reiner couldn't sit idly by.
On top of that the whole time Reiner's been worried about running into his former captain.  He'd rather not possibly face the man as a foe.  Fortunately, a letter arrived via special transport for the two, from captain Aurelius.  It told them that he is still not on the battlefield and to take care.  The man also assured him that things were well enough in Kristra-Lincia and that Reiner shouldn't worry about his family and friends.  Reiner is naturally overjoyed by this... And Natasha swears Reiner is acting as if he had just gotten a love letter from his crush.
"Captain..." A few tears begin to form, but he would wipe them away.
It was a short message, but it still made him happy to still have contact with the man he admired so much.
Taking out both of his words, he holds one up.  "You'll always be my captain..." While they may not be fighting alongside one another for the time being, but his blade will always belong to Aurelius.

Natasha would have to admit she was impressed with that devotion.  Even if she didn't find putting that much faith into someone wise.  Even the captain...

Small notes:
-They have reverted back to their civilian clothes...which seems to be mainly taking off their jackets. Natasha is insisting that they get some new clothes.
-As for Natasha's scars, she usually uses special make up to hide them, however she opted to not use it while she is a 'civilian'.  It is for a small appearance change after all.  At least that is what she told Reiner.  There is a chance those scars are actually a special temporary tattoo.  It is hard to tell when Natasha is telling the truth.
